You can book online 24 hours a day.
Both lunch and dinner are by reservation only. Please choose a course; for 2 or more guests, we ask that everyone in your party have the same course.
PER LA PRIMA VOLTA
For first-time guests
- Our signature dish, Vincisgrassi alla maceratese, can replace 1 primo piatto (a dish such as pasta) in your course. This is free with any dinner course and +¥550 at lunch. If you would like it, go to “Options” on the booking page, choose the option to change the course primo to Vincisgrassi alla maceratese, and continue.
- Children below junior high school age are welcome only on our occasional “à la carte days” and at private bookings for 6 or more adults. We announce the dates in the at the bottom of this page and on Instagram.
- For every lunch and dinner course, the cancellation fee is 100% and applies only to cancellations on the day (for private bookings, 100% if cancelled 1 week or less before your visit). Different rules apply to “à la carte days” and the Christmas course (À la carte days Christmas dinner).

For both lunch and dinner, guests dining alone are welcome. We do not accept reservations for a table only, without a course. For 2 or more guests, please choose the same course for everyone in your party.
How to book
- Online (24 hours a day)
Open the booking page with the “Book online” button below, and choose your preferred date, time and number of guests. Your booking is confirmed immediately.
To book, you will need to enter your credit card details (payment is made at the restaurant on the day). - By phone +81-54-266-3995 (phone hours 10:00–21:00, except on days we are closed)
We ask that you book online. By phone, we can answer questions about same-day availability and take bookings for parties with children on à la carte days.
As we are a small team, we are sometimes unable to answer the phone. If we miss your call, we will call you back.

NOTES
Before your visit
Vincisgrassi is a small restaurant with 14 seats. We stagger arrival times to welcome 1 party at a time, and we serve each dish to everyone in your party at the same time. We have the following 5 requests for all our guests. Please share them with everyone coming with you.
1. Your booking time: please have your whole party here by then
We do not start serving until your whole party has arrived. Depending on the day’s bookings, some dishes, such as oven-roasted bone-in joints of meat and seafood soups, are cooked and timed together with those for other guests.
If you are 30 minutes or more late and we cannot reach you, we may treat your booking as cancelled. Even if others in your party have already arrived, the booking for anyone who is 30 minutes or more late may be treated as cancelled for that person only. If you think you may be late, please be sure to contact us.
2. About scents
We value the aromas of our food and drinks. Please refrain from wearing perfume or anything else with a strong scent.
Smoking is not allowed inside the restaurant or on the premises. Because we are a small restaurant with only 14 seats, if you go outside to smoke during your meal, the smell you bring back to your seat can mix with the aroma of nearby guests’ food. Some guests have, in fact, been bothered by this.
We apologize to guests who smoke, but we would be grateful if you could refrain from smoking during your meal.
3. Bringing in food and other items
Please do not bring in food or drinks (including celebration cakes), balloons, costume headwear or similar items.
For celebrations, we offer a “birthday plate” made in our kitchen.
4. If you are feeling unwell
If you are feeling unwell or have a cough, please refrain from visiting. As same-day cancellations incur a cancellation fee, we would appreciate it if you could let us know by the day before, or have someone else come in your place.
5. Calls from the restaurant
We may call you to confirm your booking details. We would be grateful if you could take the call.

I want to celebrate a birthday or anniversary
We offer a “birthday plate” made in our kitchen: an assortment of 3 kinds of homemade dolci, fruit and Italian baked sweets. We write the message you send us with your booking in chocolate.
- Dinner courses only (not on “à la carte days”); book by 21:00 the day before; ¥3,000 (including tax).
- Limited to 1 party per day, first come, first served. You can request it on the booking page (once that day’s plate has been booked, the option no longer appears).

Can I come with children below junior high school age?
You can come with children below junior high school age on our “à la carte days”, held a few times a month on irregular dates. We announce the dates in the at the bottom of this page and on Instagram.
As there are some details we would like to ask you about, to visit with children on an à la carte day, please book by phone (+81-54-266-3995), not online. Children are also welcome at private bookings for 6 or more adults (these can be booked online).
On other days, we can only seat guests of junior high school age and older. We sometimes carry very hot dishes to the table. These days are set aside for adults to enjoy their course at a relaxed pace.
- Please count children of junior high school age and older as adults, and book a course for them.
- We do not have children’s forks, spoons, plates or chairs.
- If you are coming with a stroller, we would be grateful if you could contact us in advance so that it does not block the entrance.
For family meals, we warmly invite you to come on an à la carte day.
What should I do if I am running late?
Please be sure to contact us in advance.
- If you arrive late, we may have to change some dishes or may be unable to serve them.
- If your late arrival overlaps with other bookings, we will give those priority, and your dishes may take longer to serve.
- If you are 30 minutes or more late, please see “1. Your booking time” above.
I have an allergy
Please let us know. We will do our best to accommodate you.
However, we cannot accommodate allergies to ingredients that are central to our flavors, such as olive oil, cheese and wheat. Because all our dishes are prepared in the same kitchen, we cannot rule out cross-contact with trace amounts. Please write the ingredients you are allergic to and how severe the allergy is in the question field on the booking page (foods you dislike / allergies).
Can we come as a group of 6 or more, or book the whole restaurant?
We have no private rooms, but bookings for 6 or more guests are for the whole restaurant (up to 14 guests). You can book online (at least 1 week before your visit; cancellations made after that are charged at 100%). For private bookings, children below junior high school age are also welcome.

- We may not always be able to meet requests for specific seats.
4 tables for 2 and 6 counter seats. I think it was to avoid delays in serving the food, but I loved that they staggered booking times even when there were empty seats.
